About Avernum Escape from the Pit for Mac: Avernum: Escape from the Pit is a classic RPG where you play a group of adventurers confined to a dangerous underworld, never to see the light of day again. When you reach the bottom and find yourself in this situation, you'll have three options: join the underworld nation that's being built, seek freedom ... or get revenge on the people who banished you and left you for dead.The gameplay is very similar to classic turn-based RPGs where you have to control every aspect of a group of adventurers: manage their skills and abilities; equip them with all types of weapons, armor, and magic objects; and fight hundreds of different monsters using your best weapons. Of course, it'll also be very important to talk and make decisions, since the path your adventure takes depends on this. You'll have dozens of secondary missions available, and even if it's not necessary to complete them in order to finish the game, it's highly recommended. Graphically, Averum: Escape from the Pit looks like a game from the late 90s. Considering that its playability also points in this direction, it doesn't clash at all but rather fits perfectly. Also, the character design is very well-done. Avernum: Escape from the Pit is an excellent classic RPG with tons of game hours for any fan of the genre. Less experienced players might find it difficult or complicated, but nothing that dying a few times won't fix.
