Google Earth is a GIS that renders a 3D model of the Earth using satellite imagery, allowing users to see and compare different types of cartography. Users may also create their own map components, such as points, lines, and polygons.
The software may be used on smartphones, tablets, and desktop PCs. Track locations and routes with pinpoint accuracy; in fact, there's a GPS mode optimized for mobile phones that uses voice prompts to help you along the way. You may also add images to specific locations on the map and share them with other users; this way, when you find a location of particular interest, you can click on it and see a gallery of landscape and other photos that attempt to better accurately portray the region.
As well as satellite imagery, Google Earth also displays topography and, in some cases, 3D building reconstruction.
