Psiphon is a free, multi-platform, open-source VPN program that offers private and secure online browsing. We will be able to access any geographically restricted material, circumvent any country's online limitations, and browse the Internet with the privacy and security that every user deserves.

The application uses a distributed database, so if your local network prohibits access to the site in issue, it will attempt to identify the site on another network, maybe an international one, and request access from there. In order to use Psiphon to access social networks or search engines that are prohibited in your country, you must share your browser history with Psiphon Inc., the app's developer. It is explicitly mentioned that your information will be shared with other parties, but always in an anonymous and disconnected manner.

Psiphon allows users who desire a temporary speed increase the opportunity to pay with coins (which can be purchased with actual money) to access the internet at a faster pace.
